Apr 30 1900: Dr Leonard Pratt, died at an early hour Sunday morning at his hom. He was 80 years old, but as recently as Thursday had been in attendance upon a patient. For many years he had a large practice at Wheaton, Ill. Eleven years ago Dr Pratt came to San Jose. He leaves besides the widow, two children, Dr Hartley Pratt, a noted surgeon of Chicago, and Mrs Lawrence of Oakland, who was formerly Miss Nellie Pratt.
