Robert Nethery, aged 75, a resident of Norman's Station, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marshall Kinser, Southern Drive, where he was visiting. He was stricken with paralysis last February and had been practically helpless since that time.
Mr. Nethery was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge at Heathville, Ill. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Laurana Nethery; four daughters, Mrs. Joe Seaney of Robinson, Ill., Mrs. Paul Turner of Guthrie, Mrs. Ralph Henderson of Archer, Tex., and Mrs. Marshall Kinser of this city; three sons, Frank Nethery of this city, Arthur of Sanders, and John of Ellettsville; one brother, William Nethery of Palestine, Ill., and one sister, Mrs. C. A. Schaeffer of Robinson, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning from the Clear Creek church, and interment will be made in the Clear Creek cemetery. The Odd Fellows will give their ritualistic service for the dead. Pallbearers will be Wilson I. Ross, William Foddrill, E. E. Wells, Robert Stephenson, Lennie Ison and Ira Sullivan, all members of the local lodge of Odd Fellows.
The body will lie in state at the home of the son, Frank Nethery, 824 west 3rd street, until the funeral hour.
