On July 31, 1947, Corrine was united in marriage to Arthur Cain at the First Baptist Church parsonage in Chariton. To this union were born Larry Arthur, Calvin Ewing and Curtis Lee. Corrine was a great housewife and also worked hard alongside her husband on their farm. She sold Avon for thirty years.
Corrine accepted Christ as her personal savior at a early age. She was faithful to the Lord and his teachings all of her life. Corrine was a faithful member of the Christian Union Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School classes.
Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mary Louise Agan, her husband Arthur Cain, her infant son Larry Arthur and her grandchild, Maddie Kae Polo.
Left to mourn her memory are her children, Calvin (Mary Ruth) Cain of Alleman, Iowa, Curtis (Jo) Cain of Chariton, Iowa, her grandchildren, Rebekah (Larry) Brandmeyer.
