Lee was born to Lee Spaulding Sr. and Charlotte Spaulding in Enid, Oklahoma on October 16, 1962. Growing up, Lee was a member of the Davis Park Christian Church in Enid. He attended Chisholm Public Schools where he later graduated from in 1981. Following his graduation, Lee graduated from vocational school and worked as a mechanic. While working as a mechanic, Lee found his love for the medical profession and helping others when he became a volunteer for the Helena Ambulance Service. Lee lived out his calling as he committed over a decade of his life to Life Emergency Medical Services. While working at Life, he also taught and mentored new paramedics at Autry Technology Center. In 2002, he went to work as a flight paramedic for EagleMed for another almost decade.
On February 17, 1987, Lee and Amber Chester-Ging welcomed their first son, Nicholas Austin Spaulding. On March 24, 1992, they welcomed their son, Dylan Chase Spaulding. On April 16, 2004, Lee and Bambi Spaulding-Adams welcomed their baby girl, Addison Lee Spaulding. In 2003, Lee added two bonus-children into his life; Cooper Stinson and Jaicee Stinson. In 2020, Lee became "Pappy" to Kyler Austin and Maverick Chase, and later in 2021, Baylor John.
Lee had a heart for serving others. He was a true "jack-of-all-trades." This shined true in his everyday life as he always seemed to be assembling or fixing things for his family and friends, and especially for his kids and grandkids. There was never a task-at-hand that Lee could not conquer. He was filled with joy every time that he was able to help his family. He truly dedicated his life to making life easier and better for those that he loved most; whether it be needing a laugh or a helping hand, Lee was who everyone called to fix the problem. In the summers, when the kids were growing up, Lee spent his weekends at the lake boating and camping with his family. Without fail, on Saturdays, you could find Lee watching OU football. On any given day, he was filled with joy when he was surrounded by his family. Lee cared for, loved, and spoiled his grandbabies any chance he could. He had a sense of humor that gave a laugh to others in any situation. He had a way of making others realize that, no matter what, "we'll be alright." A sense of joy and laughter is what Lee offered to those around him. He had a way of bringing light to any room that he was in. His jokes will be greatly missed by those who love him.
