Selma "Dollard" Ball, 93, of Alma went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, in Alma. She was born June 7, 1913 in Mountainburg, the daughter of the late Jess and Hettie Dollard. Selma was a retired saleslady for Boston Store, member of Alma United Methodist Church and widow of Jess Ball.
She is survived by a daughter, Polly Rogers of Alma; a son, Donald Ball and wife Jan of Roanoke, Texas; four grandchildren, Sara Peters and Husband Scott, and Carla Symonds, all of Alma, Jennifer Smith and husband Roger of Garland, Texas, and Jimmy Ball and wife Shannon of Roanoke, Texas; eight great-grandchildren, Hannah and Evans Peters, both of Alma, Brandon and Timothy Symonds, both of Alma, and Lauren, Brooke, Blake and Kyle Ball, all of Roanoke, Texas; a sister-in-law Margaret Dollard of Prairie Village, Kansas, and several nieces and nephews.
