Seymour B. Allred Dies at Age 78
Seymour Bert Allred, 78, brother of the late E.N. Allred of Afton, and well known in Star Valley died at his home in Ogden Sunday Jan 31 of a heart ailment.
He was born July 5, 1881 at Garden City, Utah to Medwin N. and Maria J. Stock Allred. He married Mary Ellen Child May 22, 1901 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a member of the Ogden 18th Ward, where he was active in auxiliaries. He served on a mission to the Southern States from 1952-54. For the past 35 years he had resided at Ogden.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday Feb 4 at the Myers Funeral Chapel at Ogden. Burial was in the Ogden City Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, three sons, four daughters 23 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and two brothers.
