Stanley Burton Bradley, 65 of Caldwell, died suddenly in an automobile accident on April
14, 1999, north of Phoenix, Arizona. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday,
April 21, 1999 at Sand Hollow First Southern Baptist Church, Caldwell, Idaho. Burial will
follow at Middleton Cemetery, Middleton, Idaho.
Stan was born on September 5, 1933 at Modesto, Calif., to Percy Daniel and Ruth Gentry
Bradley.
Stan was an active member of Sand Hollow First Southern Baptist Church. He proudly served
in the Navy as a rescue diver from 1951 until 1967. At the time of his discharge from the
Navy, he purchased his first semi truck. He then began his life-long career as a
long-haul truck driver. He was currently employed with Edmark Chevrolet of Nampa.
Survivors include his children, Holly Bouma of Novelty, Mo., Rodney Bradley of Boise,
Cindy Edwards of Caldwell; stepchildren, Nancy Calkins and Dixie Hoffman of Idaho, Ralph
and Melvin Meyers of Georgia, Philip Meyers of N.C.; his mother, Ruth Bradley; a brother,
Preston Bradley; sisters, Margaret Wilkinson, Caroll Hill, Illene Strom and Esther
Krejcik of Calif., and Marilyn Valentine of Kansas; several grandchildren and
great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Bessie Bradley and his father, Percy
Bradley.
