Terry Lee Sturtevant
Terry L. Sturtevant, 71, of Sterling, died Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at his home.
He was born on October 9, 1951.
He was a graduate of Milledgeville High School. Terry was employed for 30 years at Northwestern Steel and Wire Co and later at ADM, in Clinton. He married the former, Cathy Crow, in Rock Falls. Terry enjoyed golfing, playing pool and darts; making jerky and baking and spending quality time with his family.
Survivors include his wife; his three children, two sons and their wives and one daughter; his two sisters; one brother-in-law; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey D. Brown; his step father, Oscar Brown and two daughters, Bobby Jo Lindsley Reed and Shona Marie Lindsley.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 9 - 11 AM with a memorial service at 11 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, in Rock Falls, with the Reverend Dalmus Meeks officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Rock Falls Eagles Club.
