BARNETT - Julia Ann, 90, passed away January 5, 2023 at her home. She was a loving wife of 73 years to Raymond and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Julia was devoted to her family. She was an avid gardener, proud ceramic hobbyist and collector of sentimental treasures. Julia was a retired deputy clerk for Jefferson County Clerk's Office. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Raymond William; and daughter, Carolyn Huff; parents, William L. & Frances Vormbrock; granddaughter, Meagan Barnett; siblings, Sonny Vormbrock, Sylvia Rusch, and Larry Vormbrock. Julia is survived by her husband, Raymond H. Barnett; children, Tom Barnett (Linda Argabrite); George E. Barnett (Sheila); Julie Robertson (John D.); Keith Barnett (Becky); Raymond Anthony Barnett; Stephanie Flautt (Mark); also she is survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Margie Morris, Mary Elizabeth Cutsinger, Norma Keenan, Steve Vormbrock, and Francie Kamer. Her funeral Mass will be Tuesday, 11 AM, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6105 S. Third Street, with burial at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, from 2-8 PM, at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Drive. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
