Born in Valley Falls, a son of the late Honore and Anna (Gosselin) Blais , he lived in Pawtucket most of his life before moving recently to East Providence and Rehoboth.
Mr. Blais was a member of the former Moose Club, Lodge 377, of Pawtucket.
He leaves two sons, Ronald Blais of Rehoboth and Francis Blais of West Warwick; two daughters, Vivian Wilson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Ilene Bergeron of Rehoboth; three sisters, Alice Marie Cartwright of Lincoln, Hilda Dumaine of Pawtucket and Laura Klang of Attleboro; 26 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Albert and Raymond Blais .
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m. from the Cheetham Mortuary Inc., 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Park Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
