Kirklon S. Beebe is buried near, his second wife, Phoebe (Tokey) Beebe. Kirklon was a Private in company F, Regiment 211 of the Pennsylvania Infantry during the Civil War. He enlisted on Aug 31, 1864, and was discharged on June 2, 1865 because of a shell injury. He lived in Waterford at the time. He had three sons with his first wife, Elizabeth Angaline Marsh, married Sept 10, 1961. They were Charles E., George W. and William M. Charles E. lived in the Greenfield Twp. area all of his life and George W. moved to California sometime in his 20's and William M died at age 5 months . He had a son, Benjamin K. Beebe, with his second wife, Phoebe married 1881. Ben K. also lived in Greenfield Twp. Kirklon's parents were William Beebe and Cyrena (Maxon) Beebe. They moved from Batavia NY to Hayfield Twp. Crawford County PA in 1844 when Kirklon was age 12. His grandfather was Ebenezer Beebe.
