Alan L. Hack, age 73, of Cullom, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 4:48 a.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

Alan was born on February 11, 1949, in Pontiac, IL, to LeRoy and Emily "Em" (Ommen) Hack. They preceded him in death.
Alan worked as a mechanic at the Cullom Co-Op, Turner Bus Service, and was in business with his brother (Jim Hack) for several years rebuilding agricultural machinery. He also worked at Cabery Fertilizer. He was the assistant fire chief for the Cullom Fire Department for over 25 years.

Alan had a passion for go-kart and stockcar racing. He loved helping his great nephews' race. He also had a passion for fishing and being on the river at his cabin. One thing that was so special about Alan is that he always showed up no matter what. He loved spending time with his family whom he loved endlessly. He was a wonderful uncle who will be forever missed.

He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Ron and Jim Hack, and his beloved boston terrier: "Ammo."

Cremation rites have been accorded.
