Roy J. Bruner, 78 years old, 49 South Main Street, Camden, died Saturday following an illness of several months.
Born in Darke county, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Bruner. He was employed by the Dayton-Western Traction company for 20 years and had been engaged in farming. Until his illness, he was custodian of the Camden Methodist Church.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Pearl Bruner; a son, Edison L. Bruner of Camden; a stepson, Chester Barbee of Dayton; a step daughter, Mrs. Mary Sasslar of Arcanum; a brother, Chester, of Dayton and six grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Juanita Woodruff, died in 1947.
Funeral services for Mr. Bruner were held Tuesday at the R.C. Nein and Sons, Funeral Home in Camde with rev. James Mishoff former pastor of the Camden Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.
