Funeral services will be held Friday for Frank A. Gorham, 1363 New Grant Street, who died in Mercy Hospital Tuesday night shortly after admission.
Funeral will be held from the funeral home, 185 Kidder Street, with a Requiem Mass at 9:30 in Holy Saviour Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Born in Ashley, Mr. Gorham resided in East End most of his life. He was employed as a coal contractor by the Franklin Colliery and later worked for the Vulcan Iron Works. He was a member of Holy Saviour Church and the Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jeannette Umphred; children, Francis and Mrs. Charles Hishta, both of Syracuse, N. Y.; Eugene, Wilkes-Barre, and 14 grandchildren. A son, Donald, was killed while serving in the Armed Forces during World War 2.
