• DAVIS -- Private graveside rites for H.C. Gilliland Jr. were July 3, 2001, at Green Hill Cemetery with Johnny Beckman officiating.
Gilliland was born March 24, 1918, at Davis and died here July 1, 2001. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Valura Margaret Sides, on Dec. 10, 1999; and a brother.
Survivors include two sons, Tom Cypert and Larry McKee; a daughter, Linda Ratchford; two brothers; a sister; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Krien Funeral Home directed services.
