Marjorie Kelbaugh Ringer passed away February 17, 2008 at the Silverado Assisted Living Center at Aspen Park in East Millcreek, Utah.

She was born September 7, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Walter and Minnie Kelbaugh. Marjorie was raised in Salt Lake City. She met Robert (Bob) Ringer while working at Maxies. He was on his way to California after leaving Nebraska. They were married August 7, 1941 in Preston, ID. They lived in Salt Lake City and then Phoenix, AZ where Bob served in the Army Air Force. Marjorie worked in sales at Auerbach's Department Store. They left Salt Lake City in 1952 due to Bob being employed by United Airlines to work out of San Francisco.

While in California they lived in San Francisco, Redwood City and Mountain View. During this time Marjorie worked for the Emporium and Macy's. They enjoyed an active social life, especially Bingo at the UAL Mainliner Club. Being employed by United Airlines allowed them to travel to many places domestically and internationally, including Australia, Asia, South America and Europe. After Bob's retirement, they returned to Salt lake City and became active in the UAL Retirees group where Marge served as president. They enjoyed camping in their motor home. Marge served as president of the Utah Sundowners Sam. Both Marjorie and Bob were baptized LDS and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Marjorie loved to teach her Primary kids and they always looked forward to getting together with the neighborhood dinner group and the monthly Hale Theatre outings.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Frankie (Joseph) Armstead; sisters-in-law: Bernice Kelbaugh and Luella Ringer; nephews: Rick (Bonnie) Kelbaugh, Clay Kelbaugh, Richard Ringer, Leo (Julie) Ringer, Michael (Karman) Tester, Paul (Carla) Tester; niece, Noreen James; also many grandnephews and nieces.

A Viewing will be held Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd where a Celebration of Marjorie's life will follow at 1 p.m.
