Funeral services will be held at 2:30 this afternoon at the home of Mrs. Laura F. Bailey, 2303 Walton Avenue, this city, for her sister, Mrs. Katherine Lambert, 83, a native of this city, who died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Dickerson, in Beckley. The Rev. W.M. Jones, pastor of Calfee's Chapel, will officiate at the services, and interment will follow in the Calfee Cemetery on Augusta Street. Nephews of the deceased will act as pallbearers, and nieces as flower bearers. Mrs. Lambert had been in failing health for some time, suffering from tumor and low blood pressure. Surviving are five children - Crockett, Samuel, Snow and Robert Lambert and Mrs. Will Dickerson, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Laura F. Bailey, Mrs. G.W. Williams, Miss Snow Calfee and William Calfee, all of Bluefield; Mrs. W.M. Johnson, Princeton, and Mrs. W.A. Thompson of Milton, Oregon. Her husband, James Lambert, and two sons, Willie and Homer Lambert preceded her to the grave. Mrs. Lambert was born in 1851, daughter of the late Rev. James and Elizabeth Calfee. She had been a life-long member of the Christian Church.
