Pink was the first born of 11 children born to William David Icenhour and Sarah Adline Boughman Icenhour. He married Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie) Miller in Caldwell County, NC in 1904 and their son Torrence was born in 1906. Lizzie died in 1907 and Pink and Torrence lived with Pink's parents until Pink remarried in Caldwell County in 1908 to Cora Belle Harris. Pink and Cora had two sons, Dudley and Daniel and two daughters, Edith and Edna before their separation in 1918. Pink married Lena Stallings in Aiken SC in 1920. They had three sons, Frederick, David,and George and one daughter, Catherine. Pink and Lena were married for 48 years and lived most of their married life in Grovetown, Georgia.
