Elizabeth Dorene (Bunner) Daniel, 88, passed away January 16, 2023. She was born October 3, 1934, to the late Horace Bunner & Dorothy Bunner Cromer, in Muncie, Indiana. Elizabeth married Melvin Daniel, May 18, 1952. They retired to Holiday, Florida, and later to Cleveland, TN.
Dorene enjoyed square dancing with Ed as a young couple, fishing, Euchre and bingo, vacations to the lakes, and visiting her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Edward Daniel and sister, Marilyn Sue Cook.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (David) Parks and Debbie Howard; grandchildren, Christy (Jamie) Bryson, Jonathan (Kelly) Parks, Jamie (Wesley) Sturgeon; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Cathy Cromer Wood, three nieces, and one nephew.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM, prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023, 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Habermas officiating.
