In the 1850 census they were living in Joliet. John died before the 1860 census; his last child was born circa 1855/1857. The 1860 census finds Ann living in Troy Township, Will County; she is also listed in the agricultural census there.
In Jan 1881 the newspaper noted that she was near death at her home in Troy Township. Her son Daniel's obit also gives that as the year of her death. After her death most of her children moved to Nebraska and Kansas, except for Michael who lived in Livingston County.
