Mr. Bearden was born in Monticello, the son of the late W. F. and Nannie Elizabeth Mangham Bearden. He had lived in Macon for 24 years. He died early Sunday morning at his residence after an extended Illness. He was a retired restaurant manager and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, the former Babe Clerk, Macon; two sons, Robert Bearden Jr., Macon, William Bearden, Ft. Ord, California, three sisters Mrs. H. G. Carmichael, Mrs. John Roberts and Mrs. K. B. Olmstead, all of Macon; and two brothers W. F. Bearden and E. Coyle Bearden, both of Monticello. Hart's Mortuary is in charge.
