Dorothy L. Witham, passed away at the age of 93 on Thursday, January 12, 2023. She was a 1947 graduate of Lancaster High School, a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Olivedale Senior Center, American Legion Post 11 and worked at Anchor Hocking (plant two) for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson L. Witham; parents, Russell and Ruth Shaeffer; brothers, Russell, Don, Jim and Homer Shaeffer; sisters, Mary Jane King, Ruth Dixon, and Ida Mae Hunter; and special friend, Harold (Dave) Markwood.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of The Ridge of Lancaster, Lanfair Rehabilitation and to the nurses, physicians and support staff at FMC. Services will take place at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Quay officiating at 11 am on Wednesday January 18th. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
