Verva Jane Glass, 80, Martinsburg, passed away at her residence Thursday evening after an extended illness with her family by her side. She was born in Duncansville, daughter of the late Clark and Claire (Hileman) Moyer.

Jane was twice married. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Lynch, whom she married in April 1970. On June 9, 1989, she married Donald Eugene Glass, who preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1996.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Moyer.

Jane was a 1960 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and later graduated from Altoona Beauty School. She retired as a hairstylist at "A Cut Above" after 35 years of service. Jane enjoyed cooking for her family and loved fishing, woodworking, hunting and canning.

Following Jane's request, there will be no visitation or service, as she wished her body to be donated to Humanity Gifts Registry. Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg.
