Miss Delia M. Davis, daughter of the late Thomas D. and Jennie White Davis of New York, died Tuesday at Baltimore, Md., after a short illness. Miss Davis was connected with public service and welfare work for more than 35 years. For the last 29 years she had been stationed at the Refuge on Randall's Island, where she had had a large share in the maintaining of the high standards and efficiency of that institution in reform work. Miss Davis was devoted to her work. Three brothers, T. Alvin Davis of Waterford, Dr. Charles E. Davis of Albany and Roderick Davis of Loudonville. survive. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock from the residence of her brother at Loudonville. Rev. H.W. Boerkland, pastor of Grace Methodist Church of Albany, will officiate.
