Martin James Reinsel, 90, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on January 20, 2023.

Martin is survived by his children Dana (Tom) Buches, Marty (Anne) Reinsel, and Pamela (Wes) Reinsel; grandchildren Lindsey, Lauren, Leigh, Jordan, Benjamin, Jacob and Ruby; great-grandchildren Alexander, Leo, and Nathaniel.

Preceded in death by his wife Hope, parents Earl and Elizabeth, and siblings Mary Margret, Ambrose, Libby, Joan, and Paul.

Upon his high school graduation, Martin went on to serve in the US Army during the Korean War. After his service, he married his wife of 51 years, Hope. He worked for United Airlines for most of his life after the military, but also helped sell real estate part time. Martin was an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed watching football, in particular the Steelers, listening to all types of music and doing puzzles online. He worked tirelessly to take care of his wife who was a quadriplegic afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis for many years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 6 - 8 pm and Saturday, January 28 from 11 am - 12 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A funeral service will be held Saturday at noon following visitation. Burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
