RETIRED FARMER FOUND DEAD NEAR RUSSELLVILLE, ILL.
Royal (Clint) Cockrum, 70 retired farmer who has been living with a son, Cyrus Cockrum on Vincennes route 2 near Russellville,Ill. was found dead Thursday morning. He had died during the night, and the death was entirely unexpected.
Wednesda evening he had gone to Vincennes to visit another son who is a patient of the Good Samaritan hospital and retturen homne apparently in good health himself.
He was born March 15,1881, inHarrison township, a son of Cyrus and Lydia Cockrum.
He is survived by six children; Mrs. Gwendolyn Berkshire of Lawrenceville route 2, Lowell, Paul and Richard Cockrum, all of Vincennes, Cyrus Cockrum of Vincennes route 2, and Edward Cockrum of Maryland; 16 grandchildren; a brother, Edward E. Cockrum of Vincennes; and a sister, Mrs. Arthur Gilmore of Vincennes.
The body is at the Brockman funeral home, pending compietion of funeral arrangements.
