Griggs, Georgia Anna Georgia Anna West Griggs left this earth to be with Jesus, her son, Richie; sisters, Margie, Esther and Nancy; and brother, Bill on January 11, 2022. Georgia was born to Blanch Fern Harris and George Raymond West on October 7, 1946. Both parents preceded Georgia in death. Georgia leaves to mourn her passing husband, Richard; daughter, Kristina Lynn Peterson; grandchildren, Maria Anne Peterson, Brittany Griggs Hill, Corey Alan Griggs, Andrew Peterson and Ken White. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Olivia, Jace, Zander and Brice. Georgia is also survived by brothers-in-law, Ken Jacobs and Tony Sablan along with numerous nieces and nephews. Georgia's cat Mattie will be lost without her. Georgia worked for Vandercook Lake Schools in the cafeteria and was an excellent housewife. Georgia enjoyed playing Double Down Casino online and scratch off Cashword lottery tickets. Georgia and Richard were married in February 1963; they were married fifty-eight plus years. The road they traveled was rocky at times, but both knew when the chips were down the other could always be depended on. Private services will be held with interment at Roseland Memorial Gardens. Contributions in her memory are directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
