When her father died, Ann's mother married Donald Martin, of Winslow, Quebec. She sometimes used "Martin" as her surname, but she was better known as Jennie Cota.
In 1900 Jennie had one daughter, Helen, with Joshua French Waterman, in Hartford, Connecticut.
Between 1904 and 1910Jennie had five children with Jean-Baptiste Côté, a.k.a. John B. Cota (b. 1866), (John's parents: Louis Cota and Eleanore Gardner, of Wolfe county, Quebec)
FUNERAL and BURIAL
COTA — The funeral of the late Mrs. Jennie Cota took place at. St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Scotstown, Que., at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 27th.
Interment was in Gould Cemetery.
