Dan graduated from Reagan High School where he was in ROTC and loved to sing in the choir. He used to whistle when he was happy, especially to the tune, "Pick Me Up on Your Way Down". He was the kind of dad who could "fix" anything and always held his family and friends close to his heart. He did not have a selfish or materialistic bone in his body. He was a great sportsman who loved hunting and fishing and could track a deer, catch a fish, and "spin a tale" better than anyone. He was a proud electrician in IBEW LU 716 and received a 70th year pin for service in 2017 following his 95th birthday. He served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard, in communications, during WWII. We will recall the laughter and fun we had with Dan fishing, hunting and eating M&Ms. Honorary Pallbearers: Keaton Blackburn, Bob Covey, Gary Cowart, Dick Ellis, Jeff Fisher, Anthony Fite, Daniel Fite, Michael Fite, Patrick Fite, Tony Fite, David Fite, Duebie Fite, Tim Fite, Steve Garlington, Ken Moore, Gene Osborne, Lee Pagel, Jay Powell, Tom Powell, Carlos Sedano, Harold Sedano, and Jonathan Sedano.
