Died Thursday night, Dec. 9, at the family residence, Mrs. Mary Bacon, aged 73 years. Mrs. Bacon's death was due to a stroke of paralysis with which she was stricken last Tuesday. She was born in Kentucky and resided in this city for nearly thirty years. She was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends, who will be grieved to learn of her death.
She is survived by two sons, John M. Bacon and William H. Hendricks, residing in this city.
