She went on to get her Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, working in the Healthcare Industry at the Laurel of Chatham for over 18 years as a CNA and Med-Tech. She was a former employer of the Jockey Plant of Randleman.
Judy loved children and would always go the extra mile for any child, always encouraging them to do and be good students.
She was voted as Miss West Liberty, a member of the Girl Scouts of Liberty. Youth Director of Edwards Grove Missionary Baptist Church. A member of the Junior Choir and an Usher of Edwards Grove Baptist Church.
Judy was preceded in death by her father, Walter Barton Sr and her daughter, Latori Danielle Coltrane.
Judy leaves cherished memories to: her loving, and faithful mother, Daisy Barton of Liberty; her son, Ryan Coltrane (Misty) of Ramseur; five grandchildren: Eyana, Chasadi and Marcus Jr, Giselle, and Hayden; her brothers: Walter Barton Jr, of Liberty, Joseph Barton of Liberty and the Reverend Arnold Barton (Claretta) of Burlington; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
