James lived to be 71 years old. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Jackson, Tn. He never married. James lived with his family who helped care for him. In his latter days, he so enjoyed his daily walk to the local Senior Citizen Center. While there, he would ring the lunch bell, informing one and all, that it was time to eat. He loved to talk to everyone around him. Sadly,he passed away,at home, Thursday night. His funeral was held at the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home in Humboldt, Tennessee on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008 at 2 P.M. His body was taken to his birth state of Mississippi, where he was buried on the following Monday, Feb. 25 at 1 P.M. He will be greatly missed.
