Grady Gus Edwards, 88, of Asheville, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at his residence.
He was a native of Yancey County.
Grady was the son of Burt and Minnie Hensley Edwards. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ollie Silvers Edwards, who died in 1996; a daughter, Geneva Edwards Todd who died in 1963; a granddaughter, Melissa Todd; four brothers and four sisters.
Mr. Edwards was retired from Earl Chesterfield Mills.
He was a member of Inanda Baptist Church and was a former deacon.
Burial: Inanda Baptist Church.
