Frances R. Wagner, 93 of South Bend, IN, passed away on Thursday September 29, 2022 at Heritage Point Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Frances was born on April 19, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Earl and Dorothy (Winer) Fuller. She was married on October 30, 1959 in South Bend to the late Carl L. Wagner whom passed away on March 9, 2001. She had been a member of the former Ridgedale Presbyterian Church. She worked with General Motors at their Chevrolet South Bend Zone Office for 15+ years and went on to worked with the Off-Campus Housing at Notre Dame before retiring with her husband to Estero, FL. She moved back to the South Bend/Granger area in 2016 to be closer to family.

She was also preceded in death by a sister Carol F. Powell, stepson James Wagner, step-grandson Marcus Wagner, and step-daughter in law Mary Jane Wagner.

She is survived by her daughters; Carla Wagner and Lynne (Michael) Donoho of South Bend, a son; Gregory (Marsha Banicki Graham) Banicki of Ft Wayne, a special "daughter" Alice (Douglas) Lawson of Ft Wayne, stepson Ronald Wagner of Brownsburg, grandchildren: Scott (Lisa) Donoho of Simi Valley, CA., Kerry Donoho Leader of Granger, Eric (Jennifer) Donoho of Carmel, step grandchildren, Michelle (Fernando) Escobar of Zionsville, Marty (Denise) Wagner of Brownsburg, Marla (Joseph) Holbrook of Brownsburg, a number of great grandchildren and a niece Joan Merrill of Ogden, Utah.

A private family graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.

Frances had many accomplishments, talents, and interests to her credit as well as an independent spirit which she was able to maintain up until her last year of life. She was her family's archivist whose passion and efforts will be greatly missed.
