WILL BE HELD: 10 AM FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2023
AT: JOHN E. STEPHENS CHAPEL
INTERMENT: LONGINO CEMETERY
VISITATION: 5-8 PM THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2023
8:00 AM TILL TIME FOR SERVICE FRIDAY, FEB. 3RD
AT: JOHN E. STEPHENS CHAPEL;

Funeral service for Mr. Claud N. Yates will be held at 10 AM Friday, February 3, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Don Savell and Rev. Gene Higginbotham officiating. Interment in Longino Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday, February 2nd at John E. Stephens Chapel. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Yates, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. He lived in Neshoba County all of his life. He retired from U.S. Electrical Motors. Mr. Yates was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church.

Mr. Yates was preceded in death by his parents, William Tan Yates and Ruth Kirby Yates; Sisters, June McKay, Polly Massey and Pearlene Williams; Brother, Rudolph Yates.

Survivors are his wife, Myrtis Yates of Philadelphia; Sons, Mark Allen Yates (Abby) of Philadelphia and Nathan Cole Yates (Kim) of Philadelphia; Sisters, Mickey Hartle of Byram, Mattie Wallace of Louisville and Nancy Hancock of Clinton; (3) Grandchildren; (2) Great-Grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Sam Yates, Terry Humphries, Mike McKay, Mike Bennett, Larry Cole, Ricky McKay and Kenneth Dearman.
