Service set for Tuesday Betty Jean Bock Baer, 75, of 819 W. 27th St., died at her home Friday, April 11, 1997. She was born in West Decatur, Pa., Sept. 1, 1921, daughter of the late Austin and Mary Price Bock.
Mrs. Baer, a homemaker for most of her life, was a former member of Calvary United Methodist Church in West Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Baer; three daughters, Pamela Jean Baer, Jackie Colleen Baer and Kathi Jo Baer; a sister, Margaret Andrews; and a brother, John H. Bock.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Shaffer of Erie and her husband Terry, and Debra Hedgdahl of Lakewood, Ohio; two grandchildren;and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 4740 Peach St., today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Further calling hours will be at Beezer Funeral Home, 719 Spruce St., Phillipsburg, Centre County, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may attend a service at Calvary United Methodist Church in West Decatur Tuesday at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Erie County Inc., P.O. Box 54, Erie Pa. 16512.
