Constance "Connie" Willene Kidd Baugh, 84, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Connie was born December 20, 1938 in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Odie Calvin and Georgiana Harris Kidd. She was the widow of the late James Harold Baugh.
Connie was a member of Beech Fork Baptist Church. She loved her time working at Wal-Mart, the election polls in Mitchellsburg, and at the Golden Living Center. She was a wonderful wife, mother, memaw, and caregiver for her paraplegic son, James for over 40 years. She was an avid gardener, and she was known as the best cook around, being slightly mischievous, and a cheater at Monopoly. She loved Jesus, her family and spending time with her grandkids, especially when they would come over and spend the night.
Survivors include her two children, Linda Valencia and Donna Raley; 4 grandchildren, Lorrie (Buddy) Davis, Jennifer (Brandon) Mattingly, Maria Valencia, and Rachel Valencia; 9 great-grandchildren, Britney (Marcus) Staton, Emily and Jeremiah Davis, Joseph, Joshua, and Josie Mattingly, Chris and Ariana Arnold, and Brady Hardin, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Connie was preceded in death by a son, James (Jimmy) R. Baugh, 4 grandchildren, Daniel Raley, Jessie Valencia, James Lucas Baugh, and James Lee Baugh, and a great-grandchild, James Austin Baugh.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Bro. John David Lane officiating. Burial is private. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Pallbearers are Brandon, Joseph, Joshua Mattingly, Jeremiah and Buddy Davis, and Lupe Valencia.
Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Arnold and Brady Hardin.
