SEPTEMBER 20, 1937 – JANUARY 10, 2023

Mrs. Annie Leona Baker Dyson, 85, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare in Lenoir. Mrs. Dyson was born September 20, 1937 in Caldwell County to the late Clarence and Margaret Ritch Baker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Gene Dyson, four brothers and two sisters.

Annie was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her children and her grandchildren above all else. She was also very close to her brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Melissa Graves and husband Matthew of Morganton, Marlene Lowman of Lenoir, Darlene Riley and husband Robert of Lenoir, a son, David Gene Dyson of Lenoir and a sister, Irene Knight of Lenoir.

Also left to cherish her memory are ten grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home with Mr. Paul Duncan officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
