Thomas Herman was the son of William F. and Margaret Quillin. He was a widower when he married (July 20, 1859) Pinkey Elizabeth Hogg in Portsmouth, Virginia. Marriage recorded in Virginia marriages, Book 1, page 2, File 93, Line 90.
Obit: Mr. Thomas H Quillin died at the home of William Quillin on the corner of High and Grace Streets, Cottage Place, on February 15, 1905 in Norfolk, Virginia after a protracted and painful illness. Mr. Quillin was in the 72nd year of his age. He was well known and highly respected. His occupation was a Painter. Two daughters and four sons survived him. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lot 145.
