Robert ''Bob'' J. Free Jr., 59, of Franklin, died Sunday at West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home Inc., LaGrange, with burial in Shadowlawn Cemetery, LaGrange. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Free was born Feb. 22, 1936, in LaGrange, son of Allie Motis Lipham and Robert J. Free Sr. A lifelong resident of Franklin, he was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of First Baptist Church of LaGrange, and was retired from the Hillside Plant of Milliken and Co.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy M. Free; and three sons, Bobby Free, Ricky Free, and Jimmy Free, all of Franklin.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the Together We Build Program of First Baptist Church of LaGrange, in memory of Mr. Free.
