Lucille graduated in 1962 from Alliance High School. She then attended Akron Barber College where she became the first licensed female barber in the area. Lucille then began her employment at Ray's Barber Shop and went on to be the owner and operator of Shear Pleasure in Alliance.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Shirley Josett; niece, Victoria (Wayne) Wheeler; and nephew Anthony (Teresa) Hoebeke. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene M. Admonius, whom she married August 19, 1967; her brother, Richard "Dick" Powers of Virginia Beach who passed in 2019; and her sisters, Doris Arbogast and Geraldine Powers.
Per Lucille's wishes, no funeral services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home 75 South Union Ave Alliance, Ohio 44601.
