Nancy Ann Banachowski, 93, passed away February 5, 2023, at Ebeid Hospice. She was born November 29, 1929, to Julia and Steve Phillips in Toledo. Nancy was a graduate of Woodward High School, Class of 1947. She married the love of her life, Chester Banachowski, December 30, 1950, at St. Hedwig Church. Nancy was a secretary for the Board of Education for Toledo Public Schools from 1974 until her retirement in 1992.
Nancy is survived by her children, Lawrence (Dianne) Banachowski, Julie (Michael) Kaminski, David (Suzanna) Banachowski, James (Tamra) Banachowski; 9 grandchildren and 9 great granchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester; and daughter, Karen Poitinger.
