Phyllis I. Schureman (nee Joslin), 86, of Vineland, NJ, passed away at home on Saturday morning, February 4, 2023 where she had been under the care of family & hospice. Phyllis was born & raised in Vineland where she remained a lifelong city resident along with several years out of the area as an Army wife. She was the daughter of the late Edward M. & Hester V. (Evans) Joslin. She was preceded in death by her daughter & son in-law, Darlene & Reginald Thiebeault & her brother Paul Joslin. Phyllis was a fulltime wife, mother & grandmother. Her life revolved around caring for her family & home. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers. While stationed in Germany, she enjoyed participating in various bowling leagues. She enjoyed traveling back to Germany several times. Phyllis is survived by her husband of 67 yrs; Russell, Children; Deborah Schureman, Kathy Manley, Karen (Tommy) McConnell, Phyllis Venditti, Eleanor (Donna) Schureman, Patty (John) Saglia, 12 grandchildren & 16 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Elsie (Harold) Brown, Vivian (Fred) Weber, 3 brothers; Ralph (Nancy), James & Wayne (Edie) Joslin, as well as many nieces & nephews Relatives & friends will be received on Thursday, February 9th from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, NJ where her funeral service will be conducted at 2:30. Burial will be private in the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Bridgeton, NJ.
