Death location came from page 656 of "The Higleys and Their Ancestry" In 1840, the census puts this family at Buffalo Grove, Ogle, Illinois. No record for 1850 census was found. In 1860 census puts his wife Lucretia living at Glenwood, Mills, Iowa.

Oliver became a Freeman on September 7, 1802. In 1830, at Jamestown, Chatuaqua County, New York, Oliver and his family joined the "Church of Latter Day Saints" and Lucretia was a zealous Mormon. In 1833 the family moved to Kirkland, Ohio, a Morman community. In 1837 the family moved to Buffalo Grove, Ogle County, Illinois. In 1843, they moved to Jo Davies County, Illinois, up to the time of his death. He followed agriculture until advancing years overtook him, when, being disabled by rheumatism, he established and managed a basket manufactory. he was a man of true in purpose, always respected for his honestly and kindness, and enjoyed the good will of Christain of all religious sects. Lucretia made her home with her son Clark. In 1852 the family moved to Glenwood, Mills County, Iowa, then September 23, 1861 they arrived in Utah. Lucretia is buried at Old Tooele City (Pioneer AKA) Cemetery, Tooele, Tooele County, Utah. Later this Cemetery was abandoned and the bodies were moved to the present Cemetery in Tooele.
