Helen Elizabeth Brown Dunlap went to be with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ on December 1, 2022. Helen was born on August 23, 1937 to Rev. Coleman Albert Brown and Mary "Margie" Brown in Wellston, Ohio. She grew up next to her daddy's side as he spoke the word Christ to anyone he came across. Helen absolutely adored her father, as she spoke of him often. She was a very devout Christian herself, always talking about the Lord and the magnificent home He has prepared for us in Heaven.

Helen lived a very colorful, amazing life. She has three children; Tim Vought (Fort Wayne, IN), Renee Vought (Syracuse, IN, and Kayse Bever Hembree (Richmond, IN). She absolutely adored her children. She would always go above and beyond to please her kids, no matter what it took. She was the same with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. "Mamaw" always made sure the kids were spoiled and made sure they all knew they were loved. Her family was her pride and joy. In her eyes no one could ever do wrong (Just as long as they prayed while doing it)

Helen was a published Poet and song writer. She wrote thousands of poems. One of her poems she took pride in was called "Daddy". A poem she wrote about her father Rev. C.A. Brown. She wrote a poem about any one she knew in her life, or any event she may have experiences. Helen also worked for the Secretary of the State of Indiana. She worked for the Indiana Ammunition Plant in Charlestown, IN. She was a model for L'Oreal. Helen took lots of pride in having her hair and nails done and don't forget the lipstick!
Helen also attended the Montgomery County Police Academy, and after graduating from the academy, she became a Police Officer in West Manchester, OH for a short time.

Helen was a "ladies man". She was married 11 times, twice to the same man. The last 5 years of her life she lived in an assisted living home, Ambassador Health in Centerville, IN. She would always give the male nurses a run for their money when they had to care for her that day. Until the day she passed she was always giving good looking men a huge smile followed by a smart comment.

Helen also loved to take pictures. She would take pictures of everything. It didn't matter what it was, there is a picture of it for some reason. Helen took pictures of so many people. She took pictures of pictures for some strange reason. Helen always had a camera in her hand, and you better be prepared to pose. That was her way of capturing every moment, good or bad.

Of all the things Helen did in life, being called Mom or Mamaw was her biggest blessing! She loved everyone whole heartedly, and without judgment. One of the kindest souls to have ever walked this earth. Helen always had a smile on her face. Even if someone didn't, she would do her best to turn a frown upside down. One say she always said was, "Smile, Jesus loves you". Until the day she passed she loved Jesus with all of her heart. She knew she would go to Heaven some day, to the magnificent place she knew God had built for us.

Helen always said to be kind, compassionate, and treat other as you would want to be treated. To accept the Lord into your heart, and you can go to Heaven one day. Helen is now in Heaves smiling down on us all, dancing and singing and rejoicing the reunion she has with those who have already gone before us.
Helen leave behind her 3 children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Pastor David Brown (Yvonne Brown) of Madison, IN, many nieces and nephews and lots of lifelong friends, one being Elna Tefley of Jeffersonville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Coleman Albert Brown, and mother Mary "Margie Brown.
