She was born on January 13, 1959, in Bath, Maine to the late Paul Edward Lare and the late Frances Noel "Fran" (DeWert) Lare. Janet lost her father Paul at an early age and was raised by William "Bill" Grasberger whom she lovingly referred to as her father figure throughout her life.
Janet was a retired Registered Nurse.
She was a creative soul and enjoyed arts and crafts in addition to tending her house plants. Additionally, Janet enjoyed playing a variety of different games, watching movies, reading, listening to music, and dining out. She was a proud dog mom and loved animals and nature.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Molly (Corey Moeller) Grasberger of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sister, Laura (John) Bowker of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and stepfather, William "Bill" Grasberger, also of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
