NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME OBITUARY – 2018
William Anthony "Bill" Straub Sr., age 78, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018. He retired from Caritas Health Services in 2000. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Anne; and his beloved daughter, Kristen Straub Wilson. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Joan Beavin Straub; his son, Bill Straub Jr. (Jenna); his son-in-law, Brent Wilson (Angela); his brothers, Bob and Tom; as well as his grandchildren, Jake & Ellee Wilson, and Molly & Jane Straub; step-grandchildren, Wesley & Olivia Peppers; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Mass of Celebration will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1000 N. Beckley Station Rd., Louisville, KY 40245 with a reception to follow at the Locust Creek neighborhood clubhouse at the end of Longview Park Lane. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
