Eugene T. Clark (75) of Kennesaw, a loving husband, father and papa, passed into heaven at 5:00 am on February 9, 2023. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Frances Hanna Clark, his parents Elizabeth and Theodore Arthur Clark, and his sister Shirley Taylor. Survivors include his two daughters, Caroline Kimberly Clark of Kennesaw; Amber Clark Little and her husband Chris, of Acworth; and son, Eugene T. Clark, Jr. and his wife Jessica of Woodstock; three granddaughters, Hanna Marie Little, Emma Grace Little, Eileen Francy Clark; two grandsons, Matteo Eugene Clark and Emmett Michael Clark, and his brother, Ted Clark and his wife Barbara of Blackshear, GA. Gene served his country in the United States Air Force from 1969-1972. Following the Air Force, he taught at East Cobb Middle School from 1973-1978. In 1978, Gene began practicing law in Marietta, GA, where he practiced for 34 years. He also served in the Georgia General Assembly, as a House of Representative from 1991-1992. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and all those whose lives he had a positive impact on. Family will receive friends from 4:00pm-6:30pm on Tuesday, February 14 with a 6:30 pm Rosary at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta. Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, February 15, at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Acworth, GA. Interment will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.
