Gary was born January 23, 1957 in Willard, to Leo G. and Ruth O. (Schriner) Seasly. He married Tammy Hall at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Republic on April 27, 1984, and she survives in Republic.
Other survivors include two sons, Cody (Shawnisty) Seasly and Brandon (Breanna) Seasly of Republic, three grandchildren, Madison, Bentley and Henry Seasly, a brother, William (Paulette) Seasly of Republic, and a sister, Barbara (Robert )Rogers of Ontario.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother John, and brothers Gerald and Kevin Seasly.
Gary was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and 1976 Graduate of Seneca East High School. He was also a member of the Republic Lions Club, the OSATPA, and the Seven Saint Knights of Columbus Council. As an avid Allis-Chalmers Tractor fan, he pulled his Allis-Chalmers tractor for many years. He also enjoyed raising his goats. Gary was the owner and operator of Gary's Equipment in Republic for the past 33 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica, with Rev. Joseph P. Joseph and Rev. Ron Schock officiating. Burial will follow at Farewell Retreat Cemetery in Republic.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 3-7 p.m., at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Scipio-Republic Fire Department.
