She was a member of the Hurley Medical Center family for 30 years.Elaine leaves to cherish her memory: beloved husband, Amos Battles of Fenton; 2 sons, Steve (Suzane) Moton of Hampton, VA and Anthony Moten of Flint; daughter, Felicia West of Flint; 7 grandchildren, Altura Stallings, Diondra (Lamar) Moton-Thomas, Marquetta Smith, Latoya Moten, Ashley Moten, Latoya West, and Charles West Jr.; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 siblings, Joyce Turner, Joann Adams, James Jones, and George Moten; and a host of family and friends that loved her.

Elaine was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mattie B. Davis; mother, Elizabeth Perkins; sisters, Patricia Nelson and Barbara Jackson. Heartfelt thanks to her friends and Fenton Extended Care.

Many years of searching for you, only to know that God Blessed me to have you right there in my path. From the first time God put us together,many chain were loosen off of me. You greeted me with open arms. I thankyou for giving me the greatest gift, "Life". From there it was a bond.
